As an affiliate input = output, and simplicity scales.

The more you do ultimately the more you’ll get back, but there are levels of involvement, and not all businesses strive to operate a second business within their business, so strategies are scaled based on desired involvement.

Strategies:

Existing customers

The main strategy as an affiliate to convert business is to focus on your existing base of business. The easiest customers to convert into customers for your new product, are those who have purchased from you before. When trust is established it’s much easier to make an additional buying decision.

1. Lead Magnets

Lead magnets are an effective means of creating interest in capturing interest among your existing client base. Typically things like giveaways, raffles, or prize entries will capture low hanging fruit interested in solar that haven’t decided to pull the trigger yet. Many affiliates will do this through an ad format (which we can provide), that would outline how: “we’re reaching out to our friends we’ve installed, to see who likes the idea of solar, but hasn’t found a way to make it make sense yet… to enter a case study where we’re going to pay part of the project cost so selected homeowners can break even on their investment sooner, in exchange for a testimonial and advertising purpose! We’re only looking to take on a couple qualified candidate homes that would be a good case study, so we’re limited on how many we can do this for, but please reach back out if you think your home could be a good candidate!” This ask is aligned with our go to market strategy and doesn’t promise anything we are unable to deliver upon, while creating an opportunity for people to engage without risk, and the promise of reward for taking action, with a limited timeframe to act.

3. Training Your Sales Organization

Training sales org: When you have an existing sales org or team that is positioned in the home or front facing with clients, you are ideally positioned to introduce an affiliate offering. The reason being; is with minor training or implementation, a sales org with a simple value statement can attach the opportunity to a follow up - on an existing sale - to add additional value, from a position of established trust. (Our team typically will voluntarily shadow closes, or referral opportunities to support adoption of practices for ease and increase the success rate for implementation)

4. Drip campaigns

Having solar as an established offering as a part of customary newsletters or informational letters presented on social media, or websites can drive exposure and generate business, when they are repeatedly sent out over time in a consistent but differentiated manor, it opens your audience over time to being receptive to the idea of solar and its benefits.

Send Us Your Contact Book & We'll Name Drop You

Opening your client list to your affiliate partners, if desired is also an option that can be utilized. Some affiliates with (approved scripts) enjoy putting our team to work in cold-call/outreach to previously installed clients to sort through who would be an engaged lead for solar. Then we take them through the process from initial contact to install. In such cases the client is still treated as a direct referral.

We value our partners brand integrity and work with each brand on a case by case basis, assuring no outside marketing is done without your stamp of approval.
